For the first time in a long time, I feel like I truly can achieve my goals. If there is a formula for success, this is it. Before I even wrote this review, I recommended this book to three of my closest friends. At pages, it eliminates the fluff and gets right to the point. He includes case studies of famous and not-so-famous people who mostly started from nothing and reached high levels of success.
Some of these people achieved incredible things. What they had in common was that they developed an unshakeable faith in themselves and had a strong purpose. They never gave up. Either they were going to reach their goals or they were going to die trying. They ignored criticisms from negative people. They were willing to fail and try again. The author shares his experience and through the simple process how to struggle, survive till achievement of success. The case studies are well structured and cover diverse professions. I was actually able to read it in only a few hours; simple, easy to understand language is used here, along with an easy flow to the sentence structure, so these ideas can be glided through, absorbed and retained at a quick pace. I enjoy self help, but sometimes when I want a page turner, I put them on the back burner. I should've put this one in the forefront. It WAS a page turner, and I love the anecdotes and celebrity stories about success. It was inspiring, and it made me think, even after I'd finished the book.
