Promises of Change (Covington)
I do enjoy this series, especially the main premise of the three older ladies banding together to form a new and better for themselves after life had hit them hard. It's light reading, but interesting. Oct 28, Sandy rated it really liked it. For me, the books in Joan Medlicott's Women of Covington series are comfort food.
Grace, Hannah, and Amelia are now old friends of mine. The books are wonderful for curling up on the couch on a cold, rainy day with a fire in the fireplace and a cup of tea in your hand.

Takes place in Covington, West Virginia - story of locala people and all their trials and tribulations. Love her stories - easy to read and she really develops the characters.
