At the reception area, there were skinny horses tied to carts, meant for pax, or big tour vehicles that hold about 10 people. Although not expensive, I do not like the idea of falling into a seemingly tourist trap The ruins itself were not very memorable.. There were some designated temples the horses or tours would bring you to, about 9 temples.. We hadn't one our homework and did not realise what an extensive area was covered by ancient brickworks nd numerous religious building.
The maps we had were unhelpful in navigating around the site. There was no food or drink that caught our eye. We walked for over 2 hours and at the end did not find a restaurant or songthaew in our 2 mile walk home. We do like walking but unless you appreciate the historical aspects not recommended.
